近期有報道指出，《劍星》中的肉色戰衣將增加遊戲難度，穿上這套戰衣時，護盾功能將被禁用。然而，許多玩家對於遊戲變得更加困難並不感到在意。
玩家們表示：「這是值得的」，「護盾只是給弱者用的」。另外，由於單字「hard」有多種意義，例如困難、堅硬的，因此也有玩家開玩笑說：「它啟動了我的Hard模式」。
